IDLC appoints M Jamal Uddin as its very first homegrown CEO & MD

M Jamal Uddin has been appointed as CEO and MD of IDLC Finance Limited by the Board of Directors at its 301st Board Meeting. He is the first homegrown CEO of IDLC, joined the company as a Management Trainee back in 1994. He has over 27 years of experience in the financial sector.

Prior to the confirmation, M Jamal Uddin has served as the acting CEO & MD. He has served as DMD & Head of Business before taking up the responsibilities as acting CEO & MD. Earlier he had displayed intriguing performance as Head of Corporate and Structured Finance being responsible for the operations of the Corporate and structured Finance Department with a special focus on term financing and syndicated fund-raising for large local and multinational
corporate houses of Bangladesh.

He pursued his BBA and MBA degree from International University, Missouri, USA.
